Happy Holidays!

I have the great pleasure to wish all the residents and surrounding areas to have a magical, safe and joyous Christmas and a Happy New Year! In 2024, the Village of Grayson continued with a number of community improvements with completing the permanent covered gazebo in Grayson’s Heritage Park; completed the Grayson Community Skating Rink Roof Replacement Project through ICIP funding and worked with the Grayson Community Development Co-operative to purchase four new Christmas Lights. We would like to recognize that the Parkland Regional Library, Grayson Branch and the Grayson Community Day Care continue to make real difference in our community.

We would like to thank our other local community groups such as the Grayson Parks and Rec Board, the Grayson Skating Rink Committee, the Grayson Volunteer Fire Fighters, Grayson in Bloom, Crooked Lake Classic and Grayson Community Development Co-operative for their important community contributions in 2024. You really make a difference in our community with your hard work, beautifying the community with new signage and improvements and you help keep our community safe and enjoyable for everyone.

On behalf of the Village of Grayson’s Council, Staff, my family and myself, I would like to wish everyone in our community a safe, healthy and joyful Christmas season and a Happy New Year! We hope that you spend this special time of year with your friends, family and members of your community. We look forward to serving you in the year ahead.

Grayson is a friendly, centrally located community between Melville, Grenfell, Esterhazy and the beautiful scenic Qu’Appelle Valley. It’s the hub for many great activities, amenities and services such as Nelson’s Grocery Store, Ottenbreit’s Meats, Sterling Tavern, Post Office, Credit Union, Skies the Limit Fireworks, Valley Mobile R.V. Service and MEC Solar Technology Centre. You can visit the historic German heritage Roman Catholic Church or unwind in Grayson’s heritage park and play area. You can also enjoy the annual Party in the Park on the August long weekend. Grayson is close to a great Valley golf course and is a great destination for ATV, snowmobile and hiking trail enthusiasts. There is a campground and RV parks in the area if you want to extend your stay.
